moments of gratitude

theauditionFAM celebrates a moment of prestigious calibre, when HRH King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. This royal visit came during RADA’s 120th Anniversary Celebration, after the King became RADA’s patron in 2024, succeeding the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Founder, Misheck Albert Freeman, performed for Their Majesties, in Beru Tessema’s production of “House of Ife”, where he portrayed the character, Solomon.

According to The Evening Standard, “Their Majesties were seen giggling at various points in the performance, particularly when Freeman started playing Amazing Grace on a keyboard that suddenly broke.

“Was that supposed to happen?” The monarch asked Freeman after they had performed, to which [Freeman] responded: “No, but we went along with it!”

“It was fantastic, very amusing I must say,” the King added.”

Various media outlets such as The Telegraph, The Stage and The Independent have also covered this performance.

We are very proud to exhibit such excellence, and we look forward to sharing your success stories in the near future.
